Senior Director of Finance and Accounting

This position is exempt, full-time. Salary to be determined - DOE. Open until filled.

Job Summary :

The Senior Director of Finance and Accounting , under the general guidance of the Vice President of Administration and Finance/CFO will be responsible for all affairs and operations of the Finance Department and will possess the leadership skills necessary to influence and motivate the finance staff and effectively communicate and interface, as appropriate, with all division departments, the Board, community leaders, outside agencies, consultants, airport tenants, and others.

The Senior Director must have an extensive knowledge of finance and accounting functions which include internal and external reporting of actual financial results, general ledger accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable and collections, capital spending and fixed asset accounting, annual and long-range budgeting and financial planning, forecasting and analysis, cash and investment management, and debt management.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or closely related field, with a minimum of five years of stable, progressively responsible management and high-level supervisory experience. A CPA and/or MBA is highly desired as is a A.A.E. or C.M. accreditation.
