TOM ANDREWS, TAA VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS RETIRES
Tom Andrews, who joined the Tucson Airport Authority as the Vice President of Aviation Services, is retiring April 20, 2007.
Before joining the Authority, Mr. Andrews was the Deputy Manager of Engineering and Maintenance at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, DC for 11 years.
A registered professional engineer and airplane pilot, Mr. Andrews began his career in aviation with the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 20 years during which time he worked as an instructor pilot, and in facilities’ management both in the U.S. and abroad.
At TAA, Mr. Andrews was responsible for the management of airside and landside maintenance, flight line and aircraft refueling services, custodial, landscaping, and FAA airfield inspections.
