TUCSON AIRPORT AUTHORITY EXTENDS
PROMOTIONAL PRICE FOR NEW GARAGE PARKING

The Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) announced today it would extend the promotional price for garage parking. The discounted price of $9 per day at Tucson International Airport’s (TIA) newest parking option will continue through March 31. The regular price of $13 per day, will resume on April 1.

Opened in August, TAA initiated the discount rate in October to introduce airport patrons to the convenience of the parking garage. It is the closest covered parking option available at the airport and includes elevator access. With room for over 600 vehicles, the new lot offers a convenient, short, covered walk to the terminal.

The covered lot is located on the second level of the garage adjacent to the rental car building at the east side of the Airport terminal. To reach the lot, use the main airport entrance at Tucson Boulevard, follow the Garage Parking signs to the terminal’s Upper Roadway, continue past the terminal and rental car building, turn right on Airport Drive and follow the signs around the Garage to the entrance. TAA offers a full range of parking options to accommodate traveler and airport visitor needs. These include:
     . Hourly (Short-Term) – in front of the terminal: $1 per ½ hour; $12 per day.
     . Daily (Long-Term) – in front of the terminal: $1 per ½ hour for the first hour then $1.50 per hour;
          $9 per day.
     . Garage – Adjacent to the Rental Car Building, east of the terminal: $3 per hour;
          $9 per day through March 31.
     . Economy (Park ’N Save) – off Corona Road east of the terminal. Shuttles operate 24 hours
          continuously between the parking lot and the terminal:
                Uncovered: $4 per day.
                Covered; $6 per day October-March; $8 per day April-September.
     . Cell Phone Waiting Lot – on Airport Drive, west of terminal off the terminal loop road. Free parking for
          people waiting in their vehicles to pick up arriving passengers.
