TUCSON AIRPORT AUTHORITY BOARD
AWARDS CONTRACT FOR
PARKING AND REVENUE CONTROL SYSTEM

At a meeting today, the Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) Board of Directors awarded a contract to Millennium 3 Technologies for $1,471,933 to upgrade the existing Parking and Revenue Control System (PARCS) for the parking lots* at Tucson International Airport (TIA).

The project is designed to provide increased reliability and functionality, and will include Pay-on-Foot machines located in front of the terminal and in the public parking garage. The project also includes automated exit lanes at the main lot in front of the terminal, and the newly opened public parking garage adjacent to the rental car building, immediately east of the TIA terminal.

The project is being funded with TAA parking revenues and is expected to be completed by October 2008.
