UNITED AIRLINES RESUMES NONSTOP SERVICE TO
WASHINGTON DULLES FEBRUARY 14
What more could Tucson wish for on Valentine’s Day but the return of United Airlines’ daily nonstop service to Washington D.C./Dulles? The seasonal flight from Tucson International Airport begins February 14 and continues through June 2, 2008. United also offers four daily nonstop departures to Denver, five to Los Angeles, and one to San Francisco.
The Washington service is timed to support business travelers and to connect to United's bank of international* arrivals and departures from Dulles.
The daily flight schedule is as follows:
Tucson Departure: 9:30 a.m. - Dulles Arrival: 3:37 p.m.
Dulles Departure: 5:30 p.m. - Tucson Arrival: 7:44 p.m.
“We’re very pleased with the return of this service,” said TAA President & CEO Bonnie Allin. “Washington D.C. is a key destination for Tucson. The return of this seasonal route for Spring ‘08 is evidence of the community’s strong support for it in Spring 2007”, she continued.
“TAA is hopeful that this flight will exceed the strong performance from last year and become a permanent part of our service offering at Tucson International Airport. As we’ve seen over the past two years, the more Tucson uses its airline services, the more TAA is able to obtain.”
This is the only nonstop service to Washington D.C. from Tucson.
There are 13 airlines** serving Tucson with 91 daily nonstop departures to 29 destinations.
