Tucson Airport Authority Names Jordan Feld
Director of Planning

      Jordan Feld has been named the Director of Planning for the Tucson Airport Authority (TAA). Mr. Feld will oversee all current, advanced, and strategic planning activities for both Tucson International Airport and Ryan Airfield.

      Mr. Feld has previously worked for the Town of Marana and City of Phoenix Planning Departments. Prior to joining TAA, he formed his own planning consulting firm specializing in policy analysis, planning and zoning. Mr. Feld holds a Bachelor of Science in Regional Development from the University of Arizona and a Masters of Public Administration from Arizona State University. Mr. Feld is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.

      Mr. Feld is the Vice Chair for Legislative Affairs of the American Planning Association Urban Design Division and a former member of the Marana Arts Council. Mr. Feld has guest lectured for both the UofA and ASU. He has spoken at numerous workshops and conferences on topics such as land use law, redevelopment, smart growth and community involvement.

      Originally from Chicago, Mr. Feld moved to Arizona in 1997. His wife, Laura, grew up in Phoenix and works in public health policy.

     The Tucson Airport Authority, TAA, is a nonprofit entity created by State Charter in 1948. Composed of 115 community members, the Authority has a nine-member board of directors that meets monthly. TAA President/CEO Bonnie Allin, oversees day-to-day operations, and a staff of 300 employees. TAA manages Tucson International Airport and Ryan Airfield.
