TUCSON AIRPORT AUTHORITY
APPROVES LEASES
At a board meeting today, the Tucson Airport Authority Board of Directors approved several lease agreements including:
- Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc., a 10-year lease for two parcels of land near Tucson International Airport to be used for advertising billboards.
- Southwest Helicopters, a five year lease with five one-year options for a facility west of S. Plumer Ave. and south of E. Valencia Rd., for helicopter storage, repair and charter operations.
- Terry Amalong, a 30-year land lease for Lot A-6 in the Valencia Rd. General Aviation Hangar Development, south of E. Valencia Rd. and S. Campbell Ave., to construct a 10,000 sq. ft. hangar for aircraft storage and charter operations.
- Granite Construction, a lease amendment to add an additional 160 acres of vacant land to its existing leasehold east of Tucson International Airport for its sand and gravel operation.
