FRONTIER AIRLINES ADDS THIRD NONSTOP

ENVER MARCH 2  

      Frontier Airlines will add its third nonstop flight to Denver, Colorado, March 2, 2010, continuing through April 18. 

     The flight will depart Tucson at 2:39 p.m. and arrive in Denver at 4:30 p.m.

     There are currently nine airlines providing 65 daily nonstop departures to 15 destinations. They include: Alaska (Seattle/Tacoma); American (Dallas/Ft. Worth, Chicago O’Hare); Delta (Minneapolis, Salt Lake City; Continental (Houston); Frontier (Denver); Southwest (Albuquerque, Chicago Midway, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego); Sun Country (Minneapolis three times weekly); United (Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco); and US Airways (Phoenix).

     The Tucson Airport Authority, TAA, is a nonprofit entity created by State Charter in 1948. Composed of 115 community members, the Authority has a nine-member Board of Directors that meets monthly. TAA President/CEO Bonnie Allin, oversees day-to-day operations, and a staff of 300 employees. TAA manages Tucson International Airport and Ryan Airfield.
