Exploring Other Worlds
On Display in the Upper Link Gallery at Tucson International Airport
The paintings of Terry Bustamante and Jennifer Hill, Exploring Other Worlds, are on display in the Tucson International Airport Upper Link Gallery through August 13, 2010.
Terry Bustamante is a printmaker, mixed media and collage artist who has been exhibiting nationally for over 15 years. Her newest series of paintings entitled Mythology incorporates bold, textured compositions on wrapped canvas that have been inspired by religion, politics, world mythology and the imaginative stories that have informed different cultures for centuries.

A graduate of Kent State, Jennifer Hill has been painting for 30 years. The influence of trips abroad, including stints in Mexico and Italy, are reflected in her dreamy images. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and many of her pieces are in private collections around the world, including the permanent collection of the Museo Del La Isla Cozumel, Mexico.

The temporary exhibits program at Tucson International Airport is open to artists living in the airport's trade area: Pima, Pinal, Cochise, Santa Cruz Counties in Arizona and Sonora, Mexico. Since the Authority initiated this community outreach program in 1991, it has hosted exhibits by hundreds of artists in the region.
