TINA MOORE PRESENTED
ARIZONA AIRPORT ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT’S AWARD

     Tina Moore, Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) Director of Programs, has been recognized by the Arizona Airports Association (AzAA).

     Citing her contributions to the Association’s legislative, grant funding, and airport development efforts with the Arizona Department of Transportation Multi-Modal Planning Division Aeronautics Group, AzAA presented the award to Ms. Moore at its Spring conference last month. This is the second year in a row the association has acknowledged her efforts in preserving state grant funding for Arizona’s airports.

     Ms. Moore joined the Tucson Airport Authority in 1993 and was named Director of Programs for the Planning and Development Division in 2005. In this capacity she is responsible for capital improvement and major maintenance planning and programming; grant administration; liaison with the Federal Aviation Administration and the Arizona Department of Transportation; and serves as the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise officer for TAA.

     The Tucson Airport Authority, TAA, is a nonprofit entity created by State Charter in 1948. Composed of 115 community members, the Authority has a nine-member board of directors that meets monthly. TAA President/CEO Bonnie Allin, oversees day-to-day operations, and a staff of 300 employees. TAA manages Tucson International Airport and Ryan Airfield.
